Interesting Facts about The Good Doctor:
1. Freddie Highmore
For those who are Highmore fans, this series would show you such an adorable side of him just like in August Rush. August Rush is a 2007 drama with fairy tale elements, where an orphaned musical prodigy uses his gift as a clue to finding his birth parents. Both of the characters played by Highmore are very intelligent yet awkward (in the best way it could become, which is like a signature of Highmore).

2. Autism with Savant Syndrome
It is rare to find series with the theme of autism. But as we could observe now, there are lots of efforts in issuing this concern in American Series, one of them is Speechless. This show also have a clear message of how disordered people could achieve more than just a burden. Savant syndrome is a condition in which a person demonstrates one or more profound and prodigious capacities or abilities far in excess of what would be considered normal. The most dramatic examples of savant syndrome occur in individuals who score very low on IQ tests, while demonstrating exceptional skills or brilliance in specific areas, such as rapid calculation (hypercalculia), art, memory, or musical ability.

3. Shaun's Refreshing and Memorable Speech
The best thing about movies is the memorable speech line; and Shaun did give it to us. Here are several refreshing and memorable moments of his speech that got this series a high rating:

THE REASON SPEECH

"I DON'T WANT LOVE"

"ARE YOU GIVING UP ON ME?"

4. Korean Touch
It is obvious that Korean Drama are mostly dramatic. This happens also in the American remake of the Good Doctor. But fortunately, this is what makes this show become close to its audience; craving more to their deepest sorrow and emotion. In the Korean version, the flashbacks also occurred again and again. It is one of the things that made this drama sad yet clearly explained; which of course gather more and more audiences.
